Jasco Pledges $1 Million to Support COVID-19 Relief Efforts
A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
Dear Customers,
We don’t have to tell you about the devastating toll of COVID-19, both in terms of the direct health consequences of infections and lost life, but also the economic impact of “shelter in place” policies that have forced non-essential businesses to close resulting in tens of thousands of layoffs. These are people we all know: our family members and our friends.
At Jasco, we are all about serving others: our team members, our customers, and our communities. God has blessed Jasco and the gospel of Luke tells us “to whom much has been given, much will be expected.” That is why Jasco gives 50% of its profits every year to charity. We give God all the glory for all that He is doing through Jasco and our charity partners that put their faith in action to meet the needs of God’s people every day.
It is in that spirit that Jasco is pledging to give $1 million to faith-based charities that are stepping up to provide much needed relief to those impacted by COVID-19.
Humanity is resilient and so often crises brings out the best in all of us. This is an unprecedented time, but we remain united to serve our communities in this time of need.

HOW WE'RE SERVING
Jasco is providing Food Assistance to those impacted by “shelter in place” policies. Those that already live paycheck-to-paycheck are disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 crisis because they lack the savings and support systems necessary to sustain their families when businesses close and they lose their source of income. The National School Lunches Program normally provides nearly 29 million free or reduced cost meals. These meals represent a critical lifeline for these families. How do we help close the gap? Jasco is issuing grants to the Convoy of Hope, Feed the Children, Food for the Hungry, and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma that together will provide over one-million meals to those in need.
Jasco is supporting the immediate Medical Needs to treat and contain COVID-19. Our Health Care systems desperately need Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) and technologies to enable virtual health services to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our Health Care systems are at risk of being overwhelmed and are rapidly increasing bed capacities, expanding intensive care units, and acquiring ventilators. Our health care systems need resources to meet the surge in COVID-19 at the same time they are seeing their typical sources of revenue plummet due to the suspension of all non-urgent procedures. In addition to providing over 200,000 units of PPE, Jasco is issuing grants to the Mercy Health Foundation, and The Integris Health Foundation, and Samaritan’s Purse that has opened emergency field hospitals in the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in New York and Italy.
Jasco is supporting Homeless Shelters that are deploying social distancing and assistance to the most vulnerable in our society that don’t have a home to “shelter in place” or other hygienic essentials and are thus uniquely at risk to becoming infected with the Coronavirus. Jasco is issuing grants to the Salvation Army and the City Rescue Mission. These organizations are providing temporary shelter, meals, personal hygiene essentials, rent and utility assistance, childcare, and converting shelters into temporary alternative care units staffed with medical professionals to serve high risk individuals infected with COVID-19.
